The Alliance for Children’s Rights protects the rights of impoverished, abused and neglected children and youth. Our education program levels the playing field for children in foster care by ensuring that our clients receive the services they need to achieve their full potential.
Join us in supporting the Alliance for Children’s Rights for a “Back to School Event,” Sunday, August 13th 10 am – noon at the Exposition Park Constituent Service Center and Natural History Museum.
- 75% of students in foster care are performing below grade level.
- Only 58% of young people in foster care graduate from high school.
- Only 3% graduate from college.
